We Strive for excellence in everything we do, working under god’s guidance and endeavouring to enable all to flourish, Bear fruit and live well together.

What does your child learn at school each day?

Our aim is to ensure all of our pupils leave our school as positive, enthused learners; with a deep knowledge of the subjects they have been taught; and with a desire to go confidently into the world.

Our Curriculum

We endeavour to provide our children with a broad range of learning opportunities throughout their time with us. Class based activities are enhanced through the use of stimulating resources, our spacious outdoor environment, excursions to other well chosen destinations and residential visits. We also make use of outside individuals and groups to extend children’s learning beyond what we can provide ourselves.

All schools within Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust recognise every child as a unique individual, celebrating and welcoming differences within our inclusive school communities.

Our curriculum is designed to build resilience and respect, enabling our children to become creative and critical thinkers with well-developed interpersonal skills who understand how they learn. We recognise and build on each child’s prior learning and provide a wealth of first hand experiences and enhancement opportunities to engage them. We emphasise learning opportunities available throughout our communities and surrounding areas. We firmly believe childhood should be a happy, investigative and enquiring time where there are no limits to curiosity and there is a thirst for knowledge.

In our opinion, play and playfulness are part of life and any education that does not communicate joy, wonder, amazement, fascination and delight has failed.

Book of Proverbs 8: 30-31 ‘Joy in learning is the mark of a good           teacher and well-taught pupil’.

Children leave our schools with a sense of community belonging and the confidence and skills to make decisions, self-evaluate, make connections and become lifelong learners.
